Hey There, My Name Is Faris Khan and I know what it’s like to compete, lose and feel deeply let down in myself. I used to feel that I just wasn’t good enough, or in the same league skill-wise as those I was up against. 

As far back as I can remember, I’ve been a competitor. In fact, I grew up playing sports, but when I was in high school my love for fitness became my passion. 

When I was in the 11th grade, I decided to join the school track team. It immediately became clear, that I wasn’t the fastest, strongest, nor the most athletic on the team – far from it.

As it turned out, my job was to race and with all of my power, not finish in last place in the 100m dash. 

I was doing great until about 70 meters into the race, and too my horror, my body began to slow down. 
What’s even worse, I could do nothing but watch the guy next to me scoot right by me. I ended up in a horror show, after ending up finishing in last place.

You know, I remember that race like it was yesterday, but I’ll tell you, from that moment on, it became my life’s mission to learn as much as possible so I could transform myself into the fastest, strongest, and most explosive athlete out there on the local circuit.
